As President of the Heat Hockey Society, it’s my pleasure to welcome you all to our 15th season of Heat Hockey in Chase. It’s our first season in a brand new League, a league that we helped create. We’re looking forward to competing against similar sized markets and budgets and a new and growing relationship with the BCHL. There may be growing pains, but your Board and Staff are dedicated to seeing it through.
It’s an exciting time of year where we meet new faces and say hello to familiar ones. It’s this time of the year that we really see how much our team means to our small Village
As we meet new friends and players, it’s important that we recognize old friends who have decided to sit out awhile after years of dedicated service. I’d like to say thank you to Ted and Collen Patterson and Fred Platteel who are stepping away to enjoy a well deserved rest after many years of dedicated service. I’d also like to thank Kolten Moore and Cody Inkster for their many years of volunteer service as Assistant Coaches. Kolten and Cody both have young growing families that deserve their full attention and we thank them both for their commitment to the Heat organization over the years, first as players, then as coaches and mentors to our young players. Finally, thank you to you, our beloved Heat fans. Without you, we have no team. So make some noise Chase, this years team is very young and very excited to show you what they are capable of now, and throughout the season. They will work hard for you, let them know that it’s appreciated.
