This article isn’t about your Grandma’s or Mom’s recipes that you remember as the best ever. It is about the human lab experiments concocted by Brad, Cody, Colin, Kolten, Tyson and Corson down in the bowels of the local Chaos Castle. For awhile they couldn’t get a working formula figured out, but like any great recipe you add and takeout spices until voila! The mad and sometimes crazy minds have arrived at something tasty for now.
Currently they have mixed 12 veterans with 13 rookies, with the majority of 14 from Alberta, 10 from B.C. and 1 special ingredient from Saskatchewan.

In the 3rd period Kennedy scores from Brown and Franklin and the game is completed with a tally from Brown with apples to Kennedy and Davidson. The final a 5-2 road win for the Heat. Kael Beauregard with his first ever KIJHL win stops 35 of 37 standing guard between the pipes. The star of the evening Captain Trevor Kennedy with 2 goals and 2 assists to lead his team to success. Next up the Heat welcome the Revelstoke Grizzlies to the Art Holding Memorial Arena on Tuesday November 1st, 7 days after beating them…should be a great game! After that the 100 Mile House Wranglers appear Friday night the 4th. The Heat have quickly become a team to watch, now would be a great time to catch a game and see if they are really better then Mom’s home cooking.
